Dr. Robert Jason Gray, son of Bobby and Marena Gray, was born and raised in Polkville, MS. The time he spent there on his family's small poultry and cattle farm sparked an early interest in animal husbandry and care. After graduating high school at East Rankin Academy, Dr. Gray received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi prior to receiving his Doctorate from Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Since graduating, Dr.Gray has worked at a small animal private practice in Jackson as well as the Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Flowood where he has focused on his primary interests of small animal internal medicine and critical care. Dr. Gray is honored to be an addition to the Oakdale Animal Hospital family and extremely eager to serve the families and care for the animals of the surrounding area. Dr. Gray currently lives in Polkville with his wife, Candace, sons Lowery and Davis, and daughter Hollis. His pets include Millie the Pug, Enzo & Cassie the kitties and he has a couple of pigs, goats, and cows on his little farm. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, working outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
